Job Summary

Campus Organizers are boots-on-the-ground student leaders participating in the semester-long Campus Chapter Program, MOVE Texas’ flagship leadership development program that invests in institutionally recognized student organizations that increase campus civic participation through voter engagement, community learning, and issue advocacy. By centering voter engagement and issue advocacy in the student experience, Campus Organizers create spaces for young people to become more civically engaged, build meaningful relationships, escalate peers into leadership, and mobilize their campus community on the issues they care about. Campus Organizers work collaboratively across the organization to build foundational civic leadership skills such as grassroots organizing strategies and tactics, political education, and leadership development through statewide and local training, experiential learning, and a guided capstone. Campus Organizers report directly to the Organizing Managers and receive support from the Regional Organizers and Issue Advocacy Organizers.
